In March staff members participated in the Shamrock Run in Kingston to benefit the Caring Hands Soup Kitchen at the Clinton Avenue United Methodist Church, which is now going to be an annual event.
At the last minute before Thanksgiving 2009, Jessica Knapp from the South Ave Neighborhood Project contracted Craig due to their sponsor pulling out. Craig Thomas and his staff made Thanksgiving dinner possible to over twenty families.
The Children Abuse Prevention Center in Poughkeepsie and The Catskill Animal Sanctuary in Saugerties were both experiencing a pest problem and lacked the funding. It was an easy decision to donate our services and offer our expertise to such worthy not for profit organizations.
Craig Thomas Pest Control values their business relationship with Vassar College and believes Vassar's Uganda Project Safe Mothers, Safe Babies is a perfect fit for Craig Thomas Pest Control. Protecting people’s health and educating them on further ways to reduce their risk is part of CTPC’s responsibility and the first step in pest management. A ten dollar donation purchases a protective mosquito net. This net prevents and protects people against malaria, associated from the mosquito. Craig Thomas Pest Control has made donations leading to over 300 protective bed nettings through the Nothing but Nets Program.
Frequent donations are made locally to the Food Bank of the Hudson Valley, Greystone Programs, Family Partnership Center, Hudson River Housing, Children's Home, Astor Home, Dutchess ARC and SPCA to name a few .

Each year, more than 13,000 young individuals are diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes according to the Center for Disease Control. July 9-11, 2010 and September 23-25, 2011, Culumus Media Station 101.5 WPDH and Craig Thomas Pest Control hosted their Annual Roof-A-Thon to raise money for Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF). 85% of JDRF’s expenditures go directly to research and education.
